Playa San Lorenzo
The Playa de San Lorenzo, located in the middle of the city, isn’t just the most popular beach, it also offers some of the best pictures of the city. It is bathed by the Cantabrian Sea, it disappears at high tide and it’s located at the foot of the beautiful church of San Pedro (St Peter).
It’s over one and a half kilometres from tip to tip, and atop its fine sand you’ll always see kites, sand castles, beach umbrellas and people enjoying the nice weather and the best views.
Next to Playa de San Lorenzo is the Paseo del Muro, a path you can take to get to the centre, the Cimavilla neighbourhood or the Isabel la Católica park.
